The Armenian Spyurk has been divided for many years by conflicting opinions and suggested strategies for resolving the loss of western lands (including Mount Ararat) and historical cities once belonging to Armenia.
Once championed by the United States Department of State and presented at the Paris Peace Conference following WWI, the Treaty of Sevres was not ratified by the U.S. Senate. Nevertheless, this important document and the Arbitral Award of U.S. President Woodrow Wilson sought to clarify the historical rights of Armenians for territorial readjustment, moral satisfaction, and even the possibility of financial reparations associated with this land known to the world as Wilsonian Armenia.
The ANA is home to vigorous discussion and consideration of the important questions that still remain regarding Wilsonian Armenia.
